The Amazing Abigail
Abigail has developed a life-long love of reading and learning that was instilled by her NDApproach program. Abigail has read scores of books, including biographies and classics.
In recent years, Abigail has acted in several plays with a small community theater. She has also performed before larger audiences. She has been an inspiration to others with special needs that also desire be included in “typical” productions.
We firmly believe that all she did in the NDApproach program has helped with her terrific memory and clear articulation. She has worked very hard, and we were given the tools through the NeuroDevelopmental Approach to help her to be the person that God intended her to be.

I am Abigail Cushing. I have Down syndrome. I am applying for college. I liked to do most of my program. I like to read.
Program helped me to speak clearly, to read and to memorize. These things have helped me be in many plays.
I enjoyed learning from Linda Kane and Michael Kane. They helped me with learning to do things that were good for me.
