Hope And A Future Orientation
Prospective families must either attend a Hope And A Future seminar or view a Hope And A Future seminar DVD. This is for the benefit of the prospective family. Their knowledge and understanding of the NeuroDevelopmental Approach, and what to expect moving forward, will be greatly enhanced.
Scheduling an Evaluation
Evaluations are scheduled in four month time periods; or trimesters. Each trimester will begin with an evaluation. The evaluation includes an assessment, a program designed specifically for the individual needs of the client, instructions for implementation of the home based program, and support for the trimester. Initial evaluations may be scheduled once the prospective clients history/application form, along with a deposit of $350.00 securing the appointment, has been received. Revisit evaluations are scheduled four months in advance, at the time of their current evaluation. A deposit of $250.00 is required for scheduling a revisit evaluation. Deposits are required for all scheduled appointments, and will be cashed six weeks in advance to the first day of evaluations for that location. Cancellations made after six weeks before the first day of evaluations will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Payment for the balance due is required at the time of the appointment.
Trimester evaluations are required as part of Hope And A Future’s consulting services. Revisit evaluations, Skype evaluations, and Telephone/Video evaluations are the primary options for meeting those requirements. A Written Report is the minimum for extending services and meeting trimester requirements. Trimester evaluations are imperative for proper monitoring, support, and effectiveness of the Neurodevelopmental Approach program. Reevaluation fees will be adjusted when trimester requirements are not fulfilled.
In the event the child is sick on the day of their evaluation, we do offer several options. The parent may come to the evaluation without the child, and the evaluation will be based off parental input. They may schedule a Remote or a Telephone/Video evaluation with a certified Neurodevelopmentalist.
