Hope And A Future Orientation
For their orientation, prospective families are highly recommended to either attend/view a Hope And A Future seminar or read either book The NeuroDevelopmental Approach There is Hope...And a Future! or It's All About the Brain by Linda Kane (Seminar DVD and book available in our store). This is for the benefit of the prospective family. Their knowledge and understanding of the NeuroDevelopmental Approach, and what to expect moving forward, will be greatly enhanced.
Scheduling an Assessment
Assessments/Evaluations are scheduled in four month time periods; or trimesters. Each trimester will begin with an assessment. The assessment includes an evaluation, a program designed specifically for the individual needs of the client, online instructions for implementation of the home based program, and support for the trimester. Initial assessment appointments may be scheduled once the prospective clients history/application form, along with a deposit of $350.00 securing the appointment, has been received. Revisit evaluations are scheduled four months in advance, at the time of their current evaluation, and recurring monthly billing starts on the month following your initial assessment.
Note: Families unable to access the online INP instruction website will receive written INP instructions through email attachments, fax, or physical mail.
Trimester assessments are required as part of Hope And A Future’s consulting services. Assessment requirements are achieved through specifically scheduled times at HAAF evaluation locations, Remote evaluations through zoom/facetime, or through Telephone evaluations. Trimester evaluations are imperative for proper monitoring, support, and the effectiveness of the Neurodevelopmental Approach program.
In the event the client is unable to attend on the day of their assessment, we offer several options. When possible, another time may be scheduled, the parent may come to the evaluation without the child (bringing any work, videos, and important input, observations, concerns, successes they have regarding the child), they can schedule a Remote (zoom/facetime) or they can schedule Telephone evaluation.
