Hope And A Future Orientation
For their orientation, prospective families are highly recommended to either attend a Hope And A Future seminar, view a Hope And A Future seminar, or read either book The NeuroDevelopmental Approach There is Hope...And a Future! or It's All About the Brain by Linda Kane (Seminar DVD and books available in our store). This is for the benefit of the prospective family. Their knowledge and understanding of the NeuroDevelopmental Approach, and what to expect moving forward, will be greatly enhanced.
Scheduling a Consultation
Consultations are scheduled in four month time periods; or trimesters. Each trimester consultation begins with an assessment. The assessment includes client/parental input, an evaluation, a program (Individualized NeuroDevelopmental Plan or INP) designed specifically for the individual needs of the client, online training for implementation of the home based program, and support for the trimester. Initial consultations may be scheduled once the prospective clients history/application form, along with a deposit of $350.00 securing the appointment, has been received. The balance of $325.00 will be due on the day of the initial consultation. The deposit for additional, first time family members, seen concurrently, is $300.00. The balance of $250.00 is due on the day of the initial consultation.
Hope And A Future's Neurodevelopmental services center around these trimester consultations and they are pivotal to the success of the family's neurodevelopmental journey. Starting with the initial consultation, ideally the next trimester consultation is scheduled at the time of the family's current one. The family is responsible for contacting Hope And A Future, to discuss their next trimester consultation options, should they not be able to schedule consultations in advance. Families remain active with Hope And A Future through a reoccurring monthly charge of $150.00 on the client's credit/debit card. Additional family members, concurrently seen, will have a $100.00 reoccurring monthly charge. There are no additional fees when having subsequent consultations. Families may cancel Hope And A Future services any time.
In the event a client is unable to attend on the day of their assessment, Hope And A Future offers options. The parent(s) may come to the consultation without the child and the assessment and updated INP is based on parental input. The family (or adult) may elect to have a remote consultation (zoom/facetime/telephone) in its place. Another option available is to reschedule the consultation for another time.
